WAN optimization supports virtualization, consolidation and cloud computing trends

Current virtualization, consolidation and cloud computing trends amplify the age-old problems of bandwidth and latency. In the past, companies tended to make do with what they had. But the drive to provide more services with fewer resources requires companies to face bandwidth limitations head-on. The answer, for some, has been WAN optimization technology.
